An Evening with Andrew McKnight

Date: September, 24th 2011 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This is THE MAN who started it all for DMH. Andrew McKnight played our very first Friday Night Concert and we have been putting out the word that David’s Music House is THE unique “family friendly” music & entertainment venue in the South Hills since October of 2010. Andrew McKnight is one of most gifted singer/songwriters in the country and we are beyond amazed that we can bring this level of entertainment to our little coffee house! It is a testimony to the message that David’s Music House sends out to the community, that we will continue to provide amazing talent to the South Hills in a warm & friendly “cozy living room” atmosphere.

Here is a little about Andrew:

Since permanently leaving his corporate environmental engineering career in 1996, award-winning folk and Americana artist Andrew McKnight’s musical journey has traced half a million miles of blue highways, and earned him a wealth of critical acclaim and enthusiastic fans for his captivating performances and five CDs. He usually tours solo, but also performs frequently with founding Nitty Gritty Dirt Band member Les Thompson fronting their genre-bending quartet Beyond Borders. In addition to his music, he is an insightful essayist and poet, a gifted workshop leader, and a warm and thoughtful interview.

If you missed Andrew the last time he performed at DMH, check out our YouTube Channel for some videos of that performance and be sure to catch him this time. You are guaranteed one of the highlights of your year of entertainment!
